Recently I was on Alexa (I’m on there a lot) and I saw a damn ad for that beach bum who makes a ton of money from home. Come on, you’ve seen it before. His ad looks like this:

Lately I’ve heard lots of good things about Compete.com, an Alexa competitor. However, when I went to go grab some screen shots for today’s post, it was down.
That’s not a good way to compete with Alexa.

I predict everyon’e Alexa will drop today because its the holidays and people aren’t online en masse as they are during normal days. Though I bet YouTube and sites like that go higher as families gather ’round the computer to watch some nouveau TV.
